  • Non-profit organization connecting older adults to resources and assistance for living safely with independence and dignity.

  • Operates the Elder Helpline (866-21-ELDER) which helps seniors and caregivers find support in our community

Local Support Groups

  • National Alliance on Mental Illness: Fort Myers

  • For family members/loved ones of someone living with a mental illness; meets once a month at Nova Southeastern University

  • Lee Behavioral Health - Free Parent/Caregiver Support Groups

  • Tuesdays from 8:30 am - 9:30 am & Thursdays from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

  • Includes information on how to recognize depression in the older adult, how to access treatment, how to make informed choices, how to work with practitioners to receive best care, as well as information on national mental health resources for geriatrics and families.
